OMG, I went to the Zilker Park Theater version of Beauty and the Beast last night. Way cool! Free theater is always cool, but this production lets you sit on a grassy knoll with picnic dinner and watch a Broadway quality show for free!

The production was really great, amazing singing and dancing and way fab costumes. The orchestra was a bit weak, but it was their dress rehearsal so that's to be expected. Go see it if you want a wonderful, entertaining time.

I love Pixar and Disney cartoons and this live production did the costumes up right, plus the story is very sweet with some existential overtones. Of course, I see deeper meaning in cartoons like Horton Hears a Who and Over the Fence.... don't we all?

scrith and I just finished watching episodes 2 and 3 and SO can't wait for tomorrow night's episode.  Unfortunately we did miss DVRing the first one but we're totally caught up, so it's all cool! :D

My brother-in-law has been doing an awesome once-a-day blog for a while now - "I am jealous". thenakedredhead and I read it, but I realized just now - it deserves to be seen by more. He comes up with something intriguing, daily, and posts a link-as-picture as well as a short commentary (which are often quite profound).

The basic theme is - we are all jealous of something. You know, when you see some awesome idea, or site, or thing, and just *want* it, or want to have come up with it, etc. That's what he blogs about.

Maybe they even served you
